Where Is He? Netizens Ask as 'With All Due Respect' Man Notably Absent From Ruto's State House Presser on Fuel

He Said "With All Due Respect" Now He Is Gone
Kennedy Kaunda became a household name last week. The transport stakeholder shut down Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi live on camera during fuel negotiations, refusing to let the minister declare a truce that the sector had never agreed to.

President William Ruto held a major press address at State House Mombasa on May 22, flanked by CS Wandayi, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, and transport sector stakeholders.

The President announced a further Ksh10 reduction in diesel prices for the June/July pricing cycle.

The man who had demanded accountability from Wandayi publicly was not in the room.

Kaunda had gone viral after insisting that matatu sector representatives had not reached any agreement with the Cabinet Secretaries, directly contradicting what Wandayi had announced at the podium.

His absence from a meeting that directly settled the issues he had raised is now drawing attention online.

Ruto told the press the government will lower diesel by Ksh10 per litre in the next pricing cycle to stabilize pump prices and ease pressure on consumers grappling with the rising cost of living.

Whether Kaunda was deliberately left out or simply not invited remains unclear. But in Kenya's political theatre, being absent from the winner's photo is rarely a coincidence.
