'Drama As Kenyan Milk Driver Pours Gallons on Road After Boss Pays Half Salary and Threatens to Fire Him

A milk delivery driver in Kenya sparked outrage online after a video circulated showing him pouring multiple gallons of milk onto the roadside in what witnesses described as an act of protest.

According to reports, the driver took the drastic action after his employer paid him only half of his agreed salary. When he demanded the remaining balance, his employer allegedly threatened to terminate his contract.

The incident drew sharp reactions from Kenyans online, with many condemning the driver's response. Critics argued the destroyed milk was worth far more than the Ksh 12,000 salary in dispute, calling the act wasteful and irresponsible.

Others however sympathised with the worker, saying the move reflected the growing frustration among low-income earners who feel exploited by employers with little recourse through formal channels.

Labour rights advocates used the incident to renew calls for stronger enforcement of employment contracts in Kenya, particularly for casual and delivery workers who often operate without written agreements.

The employer had not issued a public statement at the time of reporting.

Was the driver justified, or did his protest go too far?
