RIP: Beautiful Photos of Bungoma Nurse Who Was Killed by a KDF Soldier in a Lodging

Photos of Abigael Nafula, a nurse from Bungoma County whose death has shocked her family and community, have surfaced as relatives continue to demand justice over the circumstances surrounding her killing.

Nafula was found dead in a lodging room on April 30 after staff members entered the room to clean it.

She was discovered in the bathroom with an item tied around her neck, initially creating the impression that she had taken her own life.

However, a postmortem examination later established that her neck had been broken and twisted, indicating that she had been killed.

The tragic incident has left a family in Kimilili, Bungoma County, mourning the loss of a woman they describe as loving, hard-working, and devoted to her daughter.

Relatives claim Nafula was allegedly killed by her estranged husband, a Kenya Defence Forces officer, shortly after the two met in an attempt to rebuild their relationship.

According to family members, the couple began their relationship after Nafula completed secondary school and later married in 2013.

While they experienced challenges common in many marriages, tensions reportedly escalated in recent years following allegations of infidelity.

The worsening situation allegedly pushed Nafula to leave their matrimonial home in Gilgil and relocate elsewhere to start a new life.

Despite the separation, her husband later sought reconciliation, apologising and expressing a desire to repair their marriage.

Family members said Nafula eventually agreed to meet him, hoping to give their relationship another chance for the benefit of their daughter.

The pair reportedly travelled together and later dropped their child at boarding school before spending time together.

The following day, communication with Nafula suddenly stopped.

Relatives became concerned after receiving messages suggesting she had safely returned home, yet they could no longer reach her.

Days later, police informed the family that she had been found dead.

The family maintains that the explanation that Nafula took her own life does not match the findings of the postmortem report.

They are now urging investigators to carry out thorough enquiries and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.

As investigations continue, relatives say they remain determined to seek justice for Nafula and uncover the full truth behind her death.
