Osotsi Uncovers Details of Meeting That Ruto Allegedly Held in State House When Raila Breathed Last

Vihiga county Senator Hon Godfrey Osotsi has attracted attention, after disclosing to the public key details of secret meeting that the Father of the Nation His Excellency President William Ruto held at his State House residence, ok the fateful day that late Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Hon Raila Odinga was pronounces dead.

According to Osotsi, after it was confirmed that Raila Odinga was no more, President William Ruto called for a meeting at State House, which was attended by key ODM party leaders. 

However, as per Osotsi's revelation, Nairobi county senator Hon Edwin Sifuna did not attend the meeting, because he had gone to India where Raila died.

Osotsi went on to allege that during that meeting, William Ruto gave stern directives that his (Osotsi) name should not be considered among those who were being frontend to succeed Raila Odinga as the party leader.

"President William Ruto organized a meeting at State House that night (when Raila Odinga died). Edwin Sifuna did not attend the meeting because he had gone to bring Raila Odinga's body from India. Ruto then met with the ODM leaders who attended the meeting and made plans, saying, that I cannot be given the position to serve as ODM party leader." Osotsi indicated.

Before concluding his remarks, Osotsi further claimed that Ruto's directives on appointment of ODM party interim position beared weight, after the President was seconded by Mombasa governor Abdullswamad Sheriff Nassir regarding his proposal.

Hon Abdullswamad went on to support Ruto's proposal and he said that they could not give the ODM party leader position to me, so they gave it to Hon Dr. Oburu Oburu. 

The following morning, they organized yet another meeting, and by noon, they had concluded and announced that they had chosen Oburu Odinga as the acting ODM party leader." Osotsi indicated.
